It performs optimally even in locations where external stationary metal impairs the detection uniformity of conventional detectors. For example, when a Metor 200 must be used in proximity to large metal objects, its multi-zone structure enables detection uniformity to be easily restored. If the metal detector is located above a metal floor, the sensitivity can be adjusted to give uniform performance.

SECURITY
The switches, cables and connectors are built in, guaranteeing tamper-proof and continuous operation. The remote control unit can be locked inside the crosspiece or kept in the possession of authorized persons only, preventing anyone else from modifying the detector’s parameters. The remote control unit utilizes passwords to prevent unauthorized access to the detector’s parameters.

DETECTION PROGRAMS
The Metor 300 includes many preset weapon specific detection programs according to the requirements set by internationally recognized authorities. When developing new detection programs we use electromagnetic responses from real guns and knives. This enables us to develop detection programs.

ENHANCED SECURITY
To guarantee tamperproof and continuous operation, the switches, cables and connectors in the Metor 300 are built-in, and the remote control unit can be locked inside the crosspiece or kept in the possession of authorized persons only. The remote control unit operation is secured with passwords and a code hopping encryption algorithm to prevent unauthorized access to the detector’s parameters. The On/Off switches can be accessed with or without a key.

EASY & FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
The Metor 300’s integrated construction means that it can be easily installed or dismantled by one person. To further make the installation easier and more flexible, the Metor 300 has only one cable connection between the electronics unit and the panels. A power inlet can be used from the bottom or the top of both panels. When needed, the Metor 300 can be fixed to the floor through floor mounting holes in the panel boots.

The Metor 300 comprises modern technology and innovation and its appealing design adapts to even the most demanding environments.

The Metor 300 can be equipped either with one or two integrated ZONE DISPLAYS. These identify the level(s) at which detected object(s) are carried. This enables security personnel to immediately target metal objects and ensures that maximum throughput can be maintained in high traffic locations. The other side of the Metor 300 is equipped with TRAFFIC LIGHTS (green and red) indicating when the passenger can pass through the gate.

The Metor 300 DISPLAY UNIT can be mounted on all four sides of the detector. This improves flexibility in installation and when operating the unit. The display unit has a 2x20 character alphanumerical display. It gives information on how to operate the unit, and also functions as a signal level indicator. Both sides of the display unit have LED bars showing the zone display indication. This increases the visibility of the zone display information. The Metor 300 display unit can be provided with a keypad.

The Metor 300’s INTEGRATED BOOTS protect the coils from floor washing liquids and scuff marks. The boots have no effect on the usability of the floor-level zone display.

CONTROL NETWORK FEATURE

OVERALL SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
Up to 99 metal detectors can be connected to one network. The gates can be grouped and identified individually and/or by group name. The user can define the security level (set of parameters), which can be applied to an individual gate, to a group of gates, or to a whole network.

SUPERIOR SYSTEM SECURITY
MetorNet 3 Pro has two user levels: User and SUPER USER.
The Super user has access to all parameters and can assign editable user access rights. Each USER/SUPER USER can have an individual password to prevent unauthorized access.
