MP5000
MP5000

Able to be deployed in 15 minutes,  ’s new MP5000 portable high security anti-terrorist vehicle crash barrier can quickly protect facilities and people from vehicle attacks.

The MP5000 mobile crash barrier, can be towed into position by a medium sized pick-up truck or equivalent. Deploys in 15 minutes and operates locally or remotely for guard protection. Deployment, retrieval and operation are all hydraulic.

Stops and disables a 15,000 pound G.V.W. (66.7 kN) vehicle moving at 30 mph (48 kph). K4/L1.0

The MP5000 was built for U.S. Federal government security specialists wanting a system that could be rapidly deployed and then operated as a regular security gate or barrier system.

Once positioned, the new   mobile barricade is separated from its transporter and lowered into position by means of a Battery-Operated Hydraulic Power System, which is then used to raise or lower the barrier for normal or emergency tasks.  The controls to run the barrier can be located on the barrier, at a fixed secure post, or from a hand-held push button controller. The guard need not go to the barrier to raise or lower it from its guard position.

Within 15 minutes of being sited, the new   mobile crash barrier lowers itself into position with built-in hydraulic jacks. There is no hand cranking. Wheels are stored at the sides and then the vehicle ramps are folded out, completing the deployment. To move the barrier, the procedures are simply reversed.

Both the operation of the barrier as well as deployment and retrieval are push-button controlled. A standard system includes a battery-operated power unit, replenished from either a solar array or multiple local low voltage sources. Optionally, a   Hydraulic Power Unit operated on a locally supplied power or full manual system, or combination, is available. Both the locally powered and battery powered hydraulic pumping unit can be sized to provide pass-through rates suitable for most inspection and identification station requirements.

The barricade operates at rates between 10 and 15 seconds for a full up-down cycle. Sustained rates of 40 cycles per hour can be maintained indefinitely, depending on the available recharging methods employed.

Certified by: U.S. Department of State
Certification Level: K4
Gross Vehicle Weight: 15,000 pounds/66.7 kN
Crash Speed: 30 mph/48 kph

The new DSC 1200 surface mounted barricade provides a very easy to install high security vehicle access control system for banks, city and federal government offices, museums, corporate buildings, factories, oil refineries, railway, airport and other transportation hubs as well as other facilities threatened by truck bomb attack, errant drivers or car-crashing thieves.  Installers can simply epoxy or bolt the new DSC 1200 barricade to an already-existing concrete slab.  Since there are no drainage or underground utilities issues, installation is fast.

From smashing a vehicle into a museum to stealing art to stopping terrorists at government facilities, the DSC 1200 provides a plug-and-play temporary or permanent security alternative that can be operational within hours.

Ready to operate, the DSC 1200 high security barricade features a self-contained motor drive in one buttress and operates on single-phase household voltages.  Stop-and-go signal lights and access control logic are also built-in.  To manage the barricade, operators use touch screen control panels, which simply plug into the barricade’s control circuits.

The DSC 1200 high security barricades are also perfect for high water table locations and areas with corrosive soils.  Needing no foundation except a cement slab obviates the concerns of interference with subsurface water, gas and fuel pipes, storm drains, power lines and fiber optic communication lines.  Simply epoxying and bolting the barricades to a slab instead of having to dig a trench also reduces installation complexity, time, materials and corresponding costs.
